History

Ali Demirkan, starting his business life in 1955, established his first workshop in 1964. With the mechanization of shoe industry in subsequent years, he fully equipped his workshop and entered to factory life. He combined high skills in hand crafting and knowledge, which he had gained in long years, with modern manufacturing techniques.

Mr. Demirkan’s never-ending passion and excitement of manufacturing quality shoes has become the basic principle of the company and been followed by all of its employees. Therefore, our Company always thinks future-oriented and focuses on long term growth rather than short success. The success of Sebata can be summarized with its business understanding of “always do better”.
